I'm the Assistant Pastor for Church Ministries, which is pretty much an umbrella title that refers to all kinds of responsibilities - media and technology, music ministry, college ministry, event planning, etc. If you don't catch me at the church office working on the computer, you can probably find me drinking coffee at Coffee Society on campus at Campbell University, reading philosophy, theology, or comics back at my home in Angier, playing guitar for a local venue or church, or playing xbox with my beautiful wife Sarah or some of the youth.
I graduated from Campbell Univeristy with a BA in Religion and Christian Ministries in 2003, and followed that with a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Campbell University Divinity School in 2006. I've been playing guitar since I started college in '99, and began writing my own music soon after. You can see what I'm up to with regard to that ministry by checking out my personal website, or checking my MySpace profile. I've opened for Building 429, Jars of Clay, Shelly Moore Band, Audio Adrenaline, and more through the years, but I've always known that God has a place for me in the local church.
I currently live in Angier, NC, with my wife Sarah Jean, who is a student at Campbell University. I'm a supporter of Campbell Athletics, and an avid soccer fan, and you should check out the fighting Camels' website from time to time, since many of the athletes and coaches are believers, and several are part of the body at Grace!
